Sam Connor Self

Sam (They/He) completed their undergraduate studies in Psychology at the New School, and is currently a second year master’s student. They are interested in studying the physiological and neurobiological effects of psychedelic use in people with a history of childhood maltreatment. In the lab, they have performed a variety of tasks across different projects: study preparation, including IRB preparation and Qualtrics survey management, as well as data analysis. Sam is looking forward to completing their PhD and hopes to find a career in the research field.

Outside the Lab:

Outside of the lab, Sam enjoys curling up on the couch with their current knitting project and cat Rhubarb after spending the day museum hopping and/or thrifting.
