Sage Swanson

Sage is currently an undergraduate student studying psychology at The New School. After studying photography for two years, she decided to switch fields because psychology was always integrated into her work. She is interested in both research and clinical practice within the trauma space, with a specific focus on women who experience birth trauma. She currently supports a lab by assisting with the process of getting papers published. Looking ahead, Sage hopes to pursue a PhD and work as a clinician, with the goal of supporting women who are underrepresented within the field of psychology. In addition to her academic work, she currently interns at The Motherhood Center, where she works in the nursery with infants of mothers receiving treatment.

Sage spends her time with her cat, practicing yoga, and playing card games.
