Lux is a junior studying psychology at Eugene Lang College at The New School. She is particularly interested in issues of institutional betrayal and adolescent trauma, especially cases of sexual abuse in school settings and the psychological effects of neglect. She is especially curious about how failures by institutions that are meant to protect young people exacerbate trauma and shape long-term mental health outcomes. Her ultimate goal is to become an adolescent psychologist. She is currently an intern at The Door, where she works as the Senior Intake Counselor.

Outside the Lab: She enjoys cooking, knitting, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family.
